This role is set to commence as soon as possible and will extend through the remainder of the school year, specifically serving a high school caseload of students in grades 9-12.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or related field
• Valid state certification or licensure in School Counseling
• Experience working with high school students, particularly in guidance counseling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and parents
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and well-being
• Knowledge of college and career readiness programs

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development and academic goals
• Develop and implement guidance programs tailored to the needs of students
• Facilitate college and career readiness initiatives, including workshops and one-on-one planning sessions
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
• Engage with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
