Senior Fleet Administrator (W2 ONLY, NO C2C or 1099)
Location: Houston, Texas OR Lehi, Utah
Environment: Onsite, 5x/week
Duration: 6+ months contract
Pay: $32-$34/hour W2 (NO C2C or 1099)

Position Summary:
The Senior Fleet Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the operational, administrative, and analytical functions of the company’s vehicle fleet. This role works closely with external fleet management partners, internal field leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure vehicle availability, cost-efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to lead process improvements and support safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: - Determine the most cost-effective vehicle assignments across the fleet.
- Make repair decisions using standardized logic when escalated by our fleet management partner.
- Ensure all vehicle registrations are current and compliant, working with external partners and internal teams.
- Respond to field team inquiries and support tickets quickly and effectively via email and phone.
- Analyze cost and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and lead related projects from start to finish.
- Support a strong safety culture by delivering fleet-related training when requested.
- Identify and implement ways to reduce the administrative workload on the Fleet Team, allowing for more focus on cost-saving and optimization efforts.
- Audit existing processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Establish and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate regularly with contracted suppliers and support supplier accountability alongside the Fleet Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, functions, data filtering), Word, and Outlook.
Qualifications: - Prior experience with fleet management systems and processes.
- Strong analytical skill set with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience in project management or leading process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications (Word, Outlook).
